Cordes, Carolyn Hope
Carolyn Hope Cordes, 90, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Victor, died Oct. 21, 2012 in Omaha. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Smith Funeral Home, 808 Fourth St., Victor, IA 52347, with visitation one hour before services. Interment: Victor Memorial Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Cordes; daughter, Hope Cordes; granddaughter, Kristan Fink; grandson, Eric Brooks; and great-grandson, Gannon Brooks.
Survivors include her children, Diane and Howard Brooks, Marvin and Carmen Cordes, Janice and Mike Fink and Miriam and Bill Bybee; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wilma Watkins; and nieces and nephews.
