Tower Terrace plan forgets residents
The Gazette Opinion Staff

We have been blessed with a bunch of verbiage regarding Tower Terrace Road, the Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization (CMPO), and the metro area's desire for a comprehensive bicycle trail network (“Metro pathways,” April 21). Yet not one word on the negative impact that Tower Terrace will have on the existing residential neighborhoods that this road will wind through - noise, commercial development, crime, lower property values, etc.
Tower Terrace Road may be beneficial to commercial developers and the Marion and Robin tax base, but it will be a nightmare to adjacent residential neighborhoods that were here long before the road.
