The Kernels now open a three game series vs. the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Midwest League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.

PROBABLE PITCHERS:
SUNDAY at 2:05 p.m. CR: LHP Ryan Crowley vs. WM: LHP Kyle Ryan
Crowley is making his 5th start of the season. The 19th round selection in 2011 from Chicago has only walked four hitters in 20.1 innings this season. His last start was at Dayton on Monday as he picked up a no decision in 5.2 innings pitched. Ryan is also making his 5th start of the season. The 11th round selection in 2010 from Auburndale, FL last started on Monday vs. Beloit, going six innings with one unearned run in a victory.
MONDAY at 6:35 p.m. CR: RHP Jairo Diaz vs. WM: RHP Brennan Smith
Diaz was signed in 2007 by the Angels out of Venezuela. He will be making his 5th start of the season. He last started on Tuesday at Daytong, going four innings and allowing one run in a no decision. Smith was drafted in the 33rd round in 2010 out of Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is making his 4th start. His last start was on Tuesday vs. Beloit. He took the loss over 3.2 innings.
TUESDAY at 6:35 p.m. CR: RHP Austin Wood vs. WM: RHP Wilsen Palacios
Wood is considered the 24th best prospect in the Angels organization. He was drafted in the 6th round in 2011 out of the University of Southern California. He is making his 6th start of the season. His last start was Thursday vs. South Bend, and he took the loss in 3.2 innings of work. Palacios is making his 5th start of the year. He was signed out of Venezuela in 2006. His last start was on Thursday at Quad Cities, and he was the losing pitcher in 5.2 innings against the River Bandits.
