Kyle Dean Oyloe, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Bethany Lutheran Church, located at 29746 Iris Rd., Ossian, IA 52161. Burial: West Union Cemetery, West Union.
Survivors include his parents, Carmen and Linda Oyloe; brother, Ryan Oyloe (Becky Dewing); best friend, Julie Gordon; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orvel and Stella Oyloe and Morton and Maythel Stee.
Kyle was born Aug. 21, 1969, in Cedar Rapids to Carmen and Linda (Stee) Oyloe. After graduating from Urbana High School, he attended Kirkwood Community College. Kyle was previously employed with U.S. Cellular in its tech support department. He was a local musician. He was currently in the Julie & Kyles' Acoustic Duo and a member of Julie & The Mad Dogs. He formerly was a member of the Meerkats. Kyle loved playing his guitar and spending time with his friends.
Kyle gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
