Schuler, Lydia Gladys
Lydia Gladys Schuler, 84, of Oelwein, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein. Mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. A parish Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Lydia is survived by her two sons, Ray (Mary) Schuler Jr. of Oelwein, and Donald Schuler of Oelwein; two daughters, Doralee (Carl) Schwake and
Mary Jo Reisner of Oelwein; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
