The "Generations" sculpture is getting a new, if temporary, home.
The bronze sculpture, which previously sat in front of the the Cedar Rapids Public Library's flooded building at 500 1
st
Street, SE, is being installed at the library's temporary administrative offices in Westdale Mall today.
The sculpture was created by Idaho artist Ann LaRose and purchased by the library's Art in Public Places committee in September 2003.
The sculpture will eventually find a permanent home in the new main library, officials said.
