Kernels take two of three from Clinton

The Kernels took the series from Clinton, winning two out of three to stay in the playoff race. Now, the Kernels trail the LumberKings by four games for the final wild card spot. Kane County comes to town tonight for the start of a three game series. Kane County would be the division winner if the season ended today. The Kernels trail Kane County by seven games in the standings.
