LIVE COVERAGE: Bruce Braggs rape and burglary trial

The rape and burglary trial of Bruce Braggs, 33, of Cedar Rapids, continues 9 a.m. today in Linn County District Court.
The state rested Thursday and the defense continues its case today. Gazette reporter Trish Mehaffey is liveblogging the trial from the courtroom.
Braggs, charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree sexual abuse, is accused of breaking into a Kirkwood Court Apartment June 3, 2007 and sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman.
The alleged victim and her roommates testified Tuesday about the assault and claimed Braggs was the attacker.
Braggs claims he didn't commit the break in or the assault.
