Valliere, Virginia D.
Virginia D. Valliere, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. There will be no services. Private Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Louis; daughter, Judith (Eugene) Wieneke of Arizona; four grandchildren; and a stepsister, Jacqueline (Richard) Petty.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Virginia was born March 22, 1922, the daughter of Burrell and Margaret (Hall) Clayton, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On April 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Louis Valliere in Kahoka, Mo. For many years, Virginia worked for the Killian's Department Store.
