Milbrett, Gerald 'Jerry' Donald

Gerald “Jerry” Donald Milbrett, 46, of Chelsea, passed away at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell on Aug. 17, 2012, in the arms of his loving wife, Traci.

Jerry attended Waseca, Minn., high school, graduating in 1984. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, was an independent contractor for Birdseye in Waseca and most recently was the Iowa Division Northland Trenching Equipment, Inc. manager. Jerry was a volunteer firefighter with the Chelsea Fire Department.

Jerry is survived by his wife and best friend of 15 years, Traci Neid-Milbrett, also from the Waseca area. He is also survived by his children, Amanda, Molly, Chastity, Stephanie, Matthew, Nicole, Michael and Mitchell. He is also survived by parents-in-law, Larry and Cheryl Neid, Barb Thoms, Bruce Williams; brothers- and sisters-in-law Corey Neid (Mindy), Amy Atherton (Victor), Abbie Anderson (Joel), Amy Williams, Jared (Natalie) Ruedy; and siblings. Steve (Angie), Mark (Pat), Shaun (Jay), Kevin (Cindy) and Michelle; as well as his parents, Harold and Shirley Milbrett. We will hold you in our hearts forever.

A celebration of life memorial service will be announced in the near future.
