Osenbaugh, Helen F.
Helen F. Osenbaugh, 96, a resident of Northbrook Manor died there on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. Services will be held at a later date in Sterling, Kan. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include a son, Ralph (Karen) of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Amy (Corey) Brinkmeyer of Cedar Rapids, Mark Osenbaugh of Marion, Matt and Jeff Osenbaugh and Laurie (Kyle) Campbell, all of Hutchinson, Kan.; three great grandchildren, Graham and Mitchell Brinkmeyer and Alyssa Campbell; an estranged son, Glenn; plus many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy; and nine brothers and sisters.
Helen was born Sept. 3, 1917, in Sterling, Kan., the daughter of John and Nellie Hallock Bunn. She married Troy S. Osenbaugh on Jan. 2, 1943, in Sterling, Kan. Troy passed away in 1977.
Helen attended Kenwood Park United Methodist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star and a former member of New Encounters. Helen was an avid quilter, enjoyed sewing and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends.
Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Helen's name.
