Brittany F. Voparil, 28, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Gay & Ciha Funeral Service in Iowa City, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday.

Brittany Frances Voparil was born April 6, 1988, in Denver, Colo., moving to Iowa City in 1990. She attended South East Junior High and Iowa City High and in 2005, earned her GED from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville. She worked for many years at Aarons Rental and more recently at Systems Unlimited, initially as a job coach, and later in her career as an SLF. She was a dedicated, hard worker, who was genuinely caring and giving, and one who had a passion for nature and animals.
Her family includes her mother, Tracy Voparil of Iowa City; grandparents, Terry Voparil (Julie) of Iowa City and Phyllis Brindos of Colorado; aunts and uncles, Bruce and Sharon Voparil of Colorado, Heather and Travis Messer of North English and Craig Voparil of North Liberty; three half brothers; a half sister; as well as many extended family members.
