4A No. 3 Cedar Falls 64, 3A No. 1 Cedar Rapids Xavier 58
Northern Iowa recruit AJ Green and No. 3 Cedar Falls were too much for 3A No. 1 Xavier, 64-58, in Cedar Falls.
Green had 35 points — shooting 9 of 9 from the field and 11 of 12 from the foul line — to lead the Tigers (12-3). Matthew Mims had 29 points for the Saints (10-5).
4A No. 1 Iowa City West 72, Cedar Rapids Kennedy 35
The top-ranked Trojans got back in the win column in Iowa City after a weekend loss out of state.
Patrick McCaffery scored 32 points and Jalen Gaudet added 14 for Iowa City West (13-2).
Jack Wetzel and Jackson Foley each had 12 points for Kennedy (7-9).
Cedar Rapids Washington 63, Dubuque Wahlert 58
Both teams came in with identical records, but the Warriors left their home gym one better.
Campbell Mitvalsky had 13 points for Washington (7-9). Nolan Potter added 11 and Drew Christensen and Ross Snitker each added 10 points.
Peter Timmerman led Wahlert (6-10) with 28 points.
Cedar Rapids Prairie 68, Iowa City High 44
The Hawks led the Little Hawks 23-11 after one quarter in Iowa City.
Kris Murray led Prairie (8-8) with 13 points. Keegan Murray and Mason Hook each added 12 points, and Griff Clark chipped in 11.
Keshawn Christian had 16 points for City High (4-12).
Marion 45, Vinton-Shellsburg 24
The Indians held the Vikings to their second-lowest point total of the season in Marion.
Chase Zielke had 19 points to lead Marion (9-9).
Waterloo East 70, Linn-Mar 68
Trey Hutcheson had 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Lions in a loss at Waterloo.
Greg Hall added 17 points for Linn-Mar (8-8).
Calamus-Wheatland 87, Cedar Valley Christian 31
The Warriors led 57-21 at the half in Springville.
Jacob Looney had 26 points for C-W (13-6). Cole Telecky led Cedar Valley Christian (2-16) with 17 points.
Iowa City Liberty 62, Washington (Iowa) 54
Iziah Paulson scored 33 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Lightning (6-12) in Washington.
Luke Turner led Washington (5-11) with 12 points.
4A No. 10 Dubuque Senior 73, Cedar Rapids Jefferson 61
The Rams got 24 points from guard Marshaun Carroll and 18 from guard Carter Stevens to withstand a Jefferson rally.
Ozzie Meiborg scored 18 points and Willie Guy III 16 for Jefferson.
Iowa City Regina 63, West Branch 48
Four players reached double-figures in scoring as the Regals won their sixth game in a row.
Senior forward Jocoa Kerschen led the Regals (14-3, 14-1 RVC) with 13 points, while senior Zach Seaman, sophomore Masen Miller and 6-foot-9 sophomore center Even Brauns scored 11 points apiece.
Regina led by as many as 16 points in the first half at 30-14, but a game-high 19 points by West Branch senior Ben Thompson helped the Bears pull within nine points on four occasions.

Tuesday night at Vinton was closer than the first contest, a 72-2 win by No. 1 (4A) Marion.
Kayba Laube had 15 points to lead Marion (18-0).

The Warriors upset Cedar Valley Christian in Springville, winning the fourth quarter 23-11.

2A No. 7 Iowa City Regina 55, West Branch 38
Regina junior post player Alex Wiese scored 23 points and corralled a season-high 25 rebounds as the Class 2A seventh-ranked Regals bullied West Branch, 55-38, in a River Valley Conference game Tuesday night at Regina High School.
