Pinnacle Foods completes expansion in Fort Madison

The recent completion of Pinnacle Foods Group LLC's expansion will mean 65 more jobs at the Fort Madison canned meat factory.
The expansion adds production and packaging lines for the company's Nalley chili and Brook's bean brands. More than 80 products were added to the plant's previous output Armour canned meat and chili products.
Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the plant Friday. Pinnacle Foods made a $20 million capital investment to expand the Fort Madison facility, upgrade infrastructure, and install new manufacturing equipment at the plant.
