Meier, Janice I.
Janice I. Meier, 79, of Marengo, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Burial will be in Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Janice is survived by three sons, Steven (Donna), Marengo, Greg (Pam), Marengo, and Scott (Beth), Maryland Heights, Mo.; a daughter, Julie Storck, Marengo; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Janice M. Meier, Marengo; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Glenda) Meier, Cedar Rapids, Cliff Danielson, East Moline, Ill., and Gene Weih, Tipton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rhoda (Jessen) Bruckman; her husband, Allan A. Meier; a son, David; two brothers, Robert and Richard Bruckman; and a sister, Marilyn Morehead.
