Jayne, Bonita Alice

Bonita Alice Jayne, 73, of Olin, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Ivan; children, Rebecca (Louis) Bahnsen of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Patricia (Jerry) Hanover of Marengo, Julie (Tom) Bock of Big Lake, Minn., Bruce (Julie) Jayne of Urbana and Douglas (Liane) Jayne of Seale, Ala.; a sister, Ginger (Scott) Freeman of Arizona; a brother, Stanley (Jay) Achenbach of Alabama; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Arthur.

Bonita was born April 28, 1937, in rural Coggon, the daughter of Harold and Opal (McGuire) Achenbach. She married Ivan Jayne on Oct. 21, 1955, in Martelle. She was a bookkeeper for various businesses and was a devoted wife and mother.
