Mintle, Michael David
Michael David Mintle, 62, of Victor, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at St. James Lutheran Church, Victor. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour before the service.
Survivors include aunts and uncles, Burton Rutz, Norma Rutz and Don and Joan Nissen, and cousins, Sue Coon, Steven Rutz, Bruce Rutz, Kent Rutz, Karl Rutz, Debbie King, Tim Rutz, Mark Rutz, Nicole Rutz, Lynn Rutz, Heather Rutz, Gregory Nissen, Paul Nissen and Marla Oliver.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Margery Mintle; and grandparents, Fred and Rosa Rutz and Earle and Nona Mintle.
The family would like to acknowledge Marty and Terri Nowotny and their children, Catey, Chris, Alex, Andrew and Jon for their constant care, support, and loving hearts; Pastor Michael Kolesar; and the entire medical and hospice personnel who cared for Mike during his illness.
