Lorraine Anne Pennington Porter, 84, formerly of Lake Alfred, Fla., passed away Dec. 26, 2015, after a long illness in Houston, Texas.
She was born Aug. 27, 1931, to Adelaide (Mekota) and Oliver B. Pennington of Morse, Iowa.
She was a loving wife and mother, a woman who filled her home with love and music.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Brosh Chapel in Solon, located at 100 S. Cedar St. Burial: Morse Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. Tuesday before the service.
Memorials may be sent to the chapel in care of the family to distribute to her favorite charities.
