Hanson, Raymond Louis
Raymond Louis Hanson, 81, of Toronto, Iowa, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in the Mechanicsville Nursing Home. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Toronto Cemetery.
He is survived by one cousin, Melvin Riedesel, formerly of Clarence.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four uncles, Oliver, Oscar, Andrew and Mike.
Raymond, the son of Leon Hanson and Fredia W. Wulf, received his formal education at the Toronto and Wheatland public schools and was employed in the family enterprise of home-sawed lumber. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, stationed in Germany.
