Parmer, Judith A.
Judith A. Parmer, 54, of Springville, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, from an automobile accident. Family and friends will gather from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Bishop Robert Green will preside.
Survivors include her mother, Catherine Ainesworth; daughters, Angel (Eric) Payne, Monica Sykora and Brianne Mascher; significant other, Chuck Taylor; siblings, Dean (Wendy) Ainesworth, Marla (Guido) Gonzalez, Bill (Sheila) Ainesworth and Brian (Tracy) Ainesworth; grandchildren, Allie, Megan, Toni, Skye, Hunter, McKayla, Fritz, Rylee, Aadyn, Chirstian, Adina and Gabriella.
Judi was born Nov. 14, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harry Theodore Knox and Catherine Ainesworth. She graduated from Mount Mercy College in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Judi worked as an accountant for Cedar Valley Heating & Cooling. She was a member of Redemption Ministries and the Eagles Club.
Judi will be remembered for her loving and kind personality. She greatly enjoyed music, always playing the piano and singing and dancing. Her many hobbies included camping, puzzles, playing cards and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all her family, especially her many grandkids, were most important. They will miss her significantly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Knox; grandson, Isaiah Larson; grandparents, Lloyd and Adina Poston; uncle, Ray Poston; and aunts, Donna Poston and Mary Guinn.
