Cedar Rapids is converting many one-way streets to two-way traffic, a move they say will make streets more pedestrian-friendly and make downtown more accessible. This portion of the project includes Second Avenue between Sixth Street West and First Street East, and Third Avenue between Sixth Street West and Third Street East. More conversions are on the way.
