Big Ten preview shows start tonight

Just a reminder from the Big Ten Network:

First 'Big Ten Football Preview Show' Airs Tonight

The first Big Ten Football Preview Show airs today at 8 PM ET, as Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith take an inside look at the Indiana Hoosiers.

For the fourth straight year, Revsine, DiNardo and Griffith are traveling 3,000 miles by bus to bring fans a series of 11 hour-long shows devoted to a preseason football practice at every Big Ten university. Preview shows will include interviews with head coaches and selected returning players to measure each team's progress for the quickly approaching 2010 season.

This year, fans can follow the tour online with a behind-the-scenes look at the tour on the network's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.

Tonight's show from Indiana is the first in the series. Subsequent shows will air weeknights at 8 PM ET, continuing with Ohio State (Aug. 17), Penn State (Aug. 18), Michigan (Aug. 19), Michigan State (Aug. 20), Illinois (Aug. 23), Purdue (Aug. 24), Northwestern (Aug. 25), Iowa (Aug. 26), Minnesota (Aug. 27) and Wisconsin (Aug. 30). The Big Ten Network production crew is traveling across the conference's eight states in a customized, chartered bus. The bus is branded with logos and air times for the network's new show Big Ten Icons, hosted by Keith Jackson. Big Ten Icons will debut on Saturday, Sept. 18, and air Tuesdays at 9 PM ET. The 20-episode series will count down the top icons in Big Ten history across all sports based on their collegiate careers.

The Big Ten Football Tour is in Rantoul, Ill., today, filming preseason football practice at Illinois. After today's stop, the tour continues at Purdue, Iowa and Minnesota before wrapping up at Wisconsin (Aug. 23).

The Big Ten Network will also air a conference-wide preview show at 9 PM ET on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
