Traffic cameras not a civil-liberties issue
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Apr. 21, 2012 9:49 am
Regarding the Iowa House passage of yet another dimwitted proposed law, Rep. Bruce Hunter, D-Des Moines, encouraged Democrats to vote for the ban on traffic cameras because he felt the cameras intruded on civil liberties.
Running red lights, speed and endangering lives with reckless driving are civil liberties?
So if the Republicans don't have a monopoly on stupidity, who does that leave for us independents to support?
