Chadima, Leonard Michael
Leonard Michael Chadima, 97, died at Heritage Nursing Home on Thursday, September 10, 2009, following a short illness. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church by the Rev. Phil Thompson. Burial: St. John Catholic Cemetery. A vigil will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Teahen Funeral Home where friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and Tuesday from 11:30 to 12:15 p.m.
Leonard is survived by a daughter, Judith (Richard) Burian of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His wife, Charlotte; and one granddaughter, Teresa M. Burian; preceded Leonard in death.
Leonard was born on Nov, 10, 1911, in Cedar Rapids to Michael and Mary Sojka Chadima. He was married to Charlotte Lillian Trachta on Sept. 18, 1933.
