Keep the Mallard Fillmore cartoon

I have enjoyed the recent flap in letters regarding the Mallard Fillmore comic.
While I agree with Kathleen R. Moore (“Do us a favor and get rid of Mallard Fillmore comic,” Feb. 16) that the cartoon is a waste of newspaper space and about as funny as a broken record, I encourage The Gazette to keep running the cartoon for the benefit of people such as recent writer John F.E. Steger (“Mallard Fillmore comic has truths to offer,” Feb 24) who likely spend much of their free time watching Fox News. Mallard Fillmore is probably one of the few things they are reading.
