Three armed, masked men rob southwest Cedar Rapids home

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Three armed and masked men robbed hundreds of dollars worth of items from a Cedar Rapids home Thursday night, police said.
Police were dispatched just before 10 p.m. to 421 Ninth Ave. SW, where initial reports indicated that three masked 18-year-old males, each armed with a weapon, invaded the residence, Cedar Rapids police Sgt. Ryan Abodeely said.
No one was injured, but the suspects got away with many items from the home, Abodeely said.
Abodeely said he could not confirm what type of guns were used, or which items were stolen, but that a lot was taken.
