High winds helped topple a tree across the main road through the Benton County town of Watkins on Monday afternoon.
One lane of 26th Avenue was still blocked Tuesday morning as resident Ron Dusil, 33, used a chainsaw to clean up the rest of the mess.
"I'm not sure our saw is even going to cut through that big stuff," he said.
Dusil said the tree came down around 4:30 p.m. Monday while no one was home. No one was injured. By the time he got home Monday evening, neighbors had already cleared a path for one lane of traffic.
Dusil said he planned to spend most of Tuesday cutting up the tree, which he hopes to use as firewood.
"I'm just glad it didn't hit the house," Dusil said.
