Give gift of love for Christmas
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 14, 2013 1:06 pm
A Christmas gift you can give and receive every day of the year - the gift of love.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, it is not pompous, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interest, it is not quick tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrong doing, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
Christmas is for giving and forgiving. To love others and yourself, you have to start loving yourself and others.
Many men have a problem expressing love to other males - fathers, brothers, sons and friends. At your family Christmas get-togethers, ask the men if they tell other men, “I love you!”
Give the gift of love this Christmas!
