Douglas Alexander Tomney, 77, of Stillwater, Minn., passed peacefully at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minn., on April 28, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Douglas departed this life after a hard fought fight.
He was formerly of Fort Myers, Fla., Chelsea, Mich., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, St. Catharines, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Trelawney Estates, Jamaica, and Glasgow, Scotland.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Sheena; children, Robin (Sandy), Nicola (Michael) Bradley and Trevor (Laura); much loved grandchildren, Gavin, Claire and Nicholas Bradley and Bailee, Chloe and Ian Tomney; brother, Ian (Nancy); brother-in-law, Gordon Ewen; and many friends.
Douglas retired as CFO of Chelsea Milling Co. Jiffy Mixes.
Douglas was an avid golfer, world traveler, active in the church and choir, and enjoyed time with his family.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, at First Presbyterian Church, 6201 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater.
