Iowa State’s Niang, Iowa’s Uthoff earn NABC All-American honors

Iowa State's Georges Niang and Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff earned all-American honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Niang, who averaged 20.5 points a game, earned second-team honors while Uthoff, a former Cedar Rapids Jefferson prep who averaged 18.9 points and led the Big Ten in blocked shots, was named to the third team.
Both Uthoff and Niang are among 15 finalists for the Wooden Award, which goes to the nation's top player.
