Jason Michael Cecak entered into eternal slumber on June 9, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.
He was a beloved father, brother and son.
He was preceded in death by both sets of great-grandparents; grandmother, Karen Coates; grandfather, Edward Cecak; and stepmom, Tammy Cecak.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin E. Cecak and Lynnette Coates; three brothers, Roberts Coates, Kevin J. (Charity), and Christopher (Shasta); nine nieces and nephews, his four children, Christopher Castor, Orion, Payton and Avigail; several grandparents; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jason's body will be cremated and brought back to Iowa. A celebration of Jason's life will be at 11 a.m. July 16 at the American Legion in Belle Plaine.
