Kernels' Flores promoted, Dorado added to roster

Starting pitcher Manuel Flores has been promoted to high-Class A Rancho Cucamonga and replaced on the active roster by right-handed pitcher Reyes Dorado. He comes to town from Rookie-level Orem.
Dorado, 23, was a 14th-round draft pick of the parent Los Angeles Angels in 2008 out of Arizona State. He was 1-1 with a 9.19 earned run average this season for Orem.
Flores was 7-4 with a 3.59 ERA in 19 starts for the Kernels. His 120 1/3 innings were a
Midwest League high.
