Hiawatha man displaced after mobile home fire
A fire drove one man from his mobile home Thursday night.
The Hiawatha Fire Department was called to the mobile home fire at 314 Pebble Lane in Hiawatha, in the Bali Hai Estates mobile home park, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials say 22 firefighters battled the blaze.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials estimated the cost of the damage around $25,000.
No one was hurt.
Hiawatha crews were assisted by the Robins Fire Department, Monroe Fire Department and Hiawatha Police Department.
