McGregor, Lillie
Lillie McGregor, 98, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in Goshen, Ind. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Pastor Michael Frey will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairfax Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.
Survivors include her son, Donald (Cecelia) McGregor of Goshen, Ind.; a sister, Verna of Las Vegas; a grandson, Eric McGregor; and several relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and eight siblings.
Lillie was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Benton County, the daughter of Knute and Nellie McGregor. She married Samuel Randle McGregor on Oct. 24, 1940, in Cedar Rapids. He died in 2002. Lillie enjoyed gardening and raising her family.
