Virginia "Ginny" McCreary, 78, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ginny resided in the Ulery Unit No. 7 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of William and Bessie Counterman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Ginny was an executive secretary with Cherry Burrell, then moved on to Penford. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Iowa Veterans Home, for making her last couple of years a safe, happy and comfortable place to live.
