Paul W. Holtz, 95, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away April 16, 2021.
Paul was born March 1, 1926, in Greeley, Iowa, to Thomas and Matilda Raible Holtz. He married Zelpha Johnson in 1954. Paul was a home builder and real estate broker. He built 150-plus homes in the Cedar Rapids area.
Paul always had a story to tell and loved talking with family and friends about politics and the old days.
He was preceded in death by his wife; son, David; daughter, Mary; grandson, Eddie; brothers, Thomas, Gerald and John; and sister, Delores Wilson.
He is survived by his son, Douglas; daughters, Darla Prabel (Guy Olson), Janet Worrell (Rob) and Amy Cole; sisters, Catherine Volz, Sister Lucille Holtz and Sister Matilda Holtz; sister-in-law, Barb Holtz; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
