Barbara E. Hutton Edmunds, 86, passed away at her home unexpectedly in Cedar Rapids on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
Barbara was born Feb. 12, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruby (Duncan) Hutton. On Sept. 19, 1954, Barbara married Frank R. Edmunds in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Those left to cherish are her husband, Frank; her children, Debra Sue Stallings, New Albany, Ind., Dennis Allen Edmunds of Chicago, Scott Eugene Edmunds of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Lisa Ann Pugh of Florence, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and her brothers, James Robert Hutton of Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, and Richard White Hutton of Mount Auburn, Iowa.
Barbara was an active member of the Kennedy High School Boosters, the Czech Heritage, Federated Czech Group and a Sokol Booster member. She was also a member and a volunteer at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, as well as an active member of St. James Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Czech-Slovak Museum.
