Dear wife of the late Roy Kerr, dear mother of Terry Brenner of California and the late Randy Hansen of Tipton. She leaves to mourn her passing, a son, Terry Brenner of Hemet, Calif.; a dear daughter-in-law, Lynda Hansen of Tipton; and dearly loved grandchildren, Shelly MacDonald of Tipton, Aaron Brenner of San Diego, Calif., and Renae Bentley of Solvang, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Keith and Jake MacDonald of Tipton, and Courtney and Elton Roberts of Solvang, Calif. She also leaves one niece, Helen Roaseau of Neosho, Mo., and one nephew Dale Roaseau of Ozark, Mo.
Opal graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Mo. Shortly after graduation she moved to California where she spent the remainder of her life except recently she had moved to Iowa to be with family.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, William David Roaseau and Wilbur Dale Roaseau, and one sister, Jewell (Roaseau) Offer. Opal is the last of her generation of Roaseau family.
Opal had beautiful auburn hair like her two grandmothers. Years ago she was privileged to be on the Groucho Marx show “You Bet Your Life”. All the family enjoyed watching her on television.
She shall be gravely missed by all of us.
