Giltrap, Cleo N.
Cleo N. Giltrap, 85, of Marion, died at Village Ridge Care Center on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids by the Rev. Martha Rogers. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m.
Cleo is survived by her children, Ray Giltrap of Diamond Head, Miss., Jane (Steve Streets) Giltrap of LeClaire and Marv Giltrap of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Sherry (Carl) Bahr, Danielle (Brian) Bentley, and Dylan (Tina) Giltrap; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; and a daughter, Jo.
Cleo was born April 1, 1926, in Marion, to Harry and Jennie Van Fossen. She married Donald Giltrap in Cedar Rapids on Sept. 8, 1946. He died in 1991. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church. Cleo loved to knit and crochet, donating her items to several charities.
