Goldfuss, Bob
Bob Goldfuss, 71, of Denver, Colo., passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2009. Mass and burial were Sept. 14 at Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary and Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Bob is survived by three children, Desiree Wachter, Kiki Megahan and John R. Goldfuss; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jack; and uncle, Ray, the last two for whom he was caretaker.
Bob graduated in 1955 from St. Patrick's School in Cedar Rapids and in 1959 from the University of Iowa. He was an avid fan of the Hawkeyes, especially football, and had attended the 1959 Rose Bowl game.
Bob was a great friend and a fine gentleman.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Malley Senior Rec Center, 3380 S. Lincoln St., Englewood, CO 80113 or St. Patrick's Flood Rebuilding Fund in Cedar Rapids.
