Nordstrom, Delphine (nee Straube)
Delphine (nee Straube) Nordstrom, 89, of Grand Rapids, Mich., went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elmer Nordstrom in February; and son, Paul in 2008.
She is survived by her sons, David Roy Nordstrom and Karl Alan Nordstrom; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Henry; grandchildren, Soren, Neysa, Skyler, David, Brian and Kelsey; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, in the chapel of Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline, Grand Rapids, Mich. Interment: Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, Ill. The family will greet friends and relatives at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, Mich., from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Delphine's memory may be made to David's House Ministries, 2375 Banner Dr. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
