Iowa Football Early Recruit Offers

As much as Iowa fans are wondering about basketball recruiting right now, Iowa Football is on the recruting trail too. Last week, Offensive Lineman Mitchell Keppy from Port Byron, IL. verbally committed to become a Hawkeye. He is the first to do so for the class of 2012. Over the past 2 weeks though the Hawks have offered a few more recruits.

Here they are:

-Bart Houston, DeLaSalle HS, CA. (Yes that very same DeLaSalle) In addition to Iowa, Houston also has scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado, San Diego State, UCLA and Wisconsin.

-Jehu Chesson, WR, Ladue Horton Watkins HS, MO. Offered by Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Missouri.

-Evan Winston, DE, Muskegon Heights, MI. Offers from Iowa, Toledo, Ball State and Bowling Green.

-Joe Bolden, LB Cincinnati Colerain, OH. Offers from Iowa, Arizona, Stanford, Tennessee and many more.

-Ruben Lile, S/WR, Detroit Cass Tech, MI. Offers from Iowa and all of the Michigans(Eastern, Western, Central)

-Laron Taylor, LB, Detriot Cass Tech, MI. He has plans to take visits to Iowa, OhioState and PennState.

-Jason Robertson, WR, Lincoln Way East, IL. Offered by Iowa, Illinois and Western Michigan.

Many recruits might actually be in attendance at this weekend spring practice. So keep an eye out and show them what Hawkeye Nation is all about!
