Cedar Rapids seeks applicants for boards and committees

CEDAR RAPIDS - Six boards, commissions and advisory committees that help local government function will need new members beginning July 1.
Vacancies will be found on the Electrical Board of Appeals (three-year term), Grants and Programs Citizen Advisory Committee (one-year term), Ellis Area Design Review Technical Advisory Committee (three-year term), Downtown Cedar Rapids Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District Commission (three-year term), City Planning Commission (three-year term) and Civil Service Commission (four-year term).
Other boards, commissions and committees also will have vacancies.

Applications are due by April 30.
