Klostermann, Debbie Ann
Debbie Ann Klostermann, 55, of 429 First Ave. West, Dyersville, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Friends and relatives of Debbie may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, where a wake service will be at 4 p.m. Services for Debbie will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, with the Rev. Noah Diehm officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville.
Debbie was born July 6, 1958, in Manchester, Iowa, daughter of Ralph and Helen (Shaw) Westhoff. She was a graduate of Beckman High School in Dyersville. On June 1, 1979, she was united in marriage to Loras Klostermann at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville. The couple owned and operated Ideal Furniture and Flooring in Dyersville.
Debbie had many hobbies and interests, among them were reading, designing, entertaining, and her favorite, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Dyersville.
She is survived by her husband, Loras Klostermann of Dyersville; three children, Kelly (Bret) Milbert, Nick Klostermann and Elizabeth Klostermann, all of Dyersville; two grandsons, Dylan and Gavin Milbert; her mother and stepfather, Helen (Bob) Manternach of Manchester; four siblings, Duane (Lynn) Westhoff of Clinton, Ill., Diane (Mark) Schnoes of Coralville, Dan (Janet) Westhoff of Normal, Ill., and Don (Meg) Westhoff of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Westhoff in 1998.
