Martha Lawrence, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at her son's home in Brazoria, Texas, on Dec. 28, 2014. A celebration gathering will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Avacentre at Brosh Chapel, where there will be a 1:30 p.m. Celebration service. A private family inurnment will be at later date in Gillette, Wyo.
Martha was born June 1, 1936, in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd and Vynila (Bilger) Parks.
Martha is survived by her son, Rick (Joddi) Stoneburner of Brazoria, Texas; a daughter, Deborah Sivak; two grandchildren, Aaron Sivak and Stephanie (Aaron) Kallberg, and two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Ariel Kallberg, all of Denver, Colo.; brother, Bill Parks of Atkins; sister-in-law, Pat Parks of Marion, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend, Marion Zupke of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lawrence; son, Baby Stoneburner; parents, Lloyd and Vynila Parks; and brothers, Carl, Herman and Ernie Parks.
