Huggins, Stephen Martin
Stephen Martin Huggins, 55, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the Creighton University Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Private family inurnment will be held in Linwood Cemetery.
Stephen was born March 16, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the son of George W. and Helen R. (White) Huggins Jr. Stephen enjoyed all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Michelle; two grandchildren; a sister, Betty Smith all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Frank (Shirley) Vozenilek of Cedar Rapids; special nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt; his loving companion, Shirley Adamson; and her son, Rich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Mike Vozenilek; and a brother-in-law, Gordon Smith.
