Warren Eugene Krog, 87, of Central City, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Marion, with a visitation one hour before the service.
Warren is survived by his brother, Dick (Marylyn) Krog of Central City; sister, Marie Lee of Indianola; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Waldemar Jr.
Warren was born Oct. 31, 1929, in Stanton, Neb., the son of Waldemar A. and Myrtle C. (Moritz) Krog. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Warren was a lifelong farmer with his brother, Dick, for 62 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Warren was a gentle soul and very easy to get along with.
