Howard F. Tuttle Jr., 80, of Marengo, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at First United Methodist Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.

Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cleo; two sons, Kenneth (Carol) and Kirby, both of Marengo; three grandchildren, Tina Tuttle (Rion) and Nathan Tuttle, both of Marengo, and Felicia Koehn of California; two stepgrandchildren, Chris Lyman of Cedar Rapids and Amy Imhoff of Iowa City; and two great-grandchildren, Nessecity Tuttle and Karmia Koehn.

Also surviving are his siblings, Jean Gritman (Bob) of Marion, Ann Schutterle of Ladora,  Jack Tuttle (Sharon) of Marengo, Shirley Shaull (Carrol) of Ladora and Betty Wiedemeier (Larry) of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard J. and Frances Keeney Tuttle; a son, Kurtis; an infant sister, nephews and a brother-in-law.

A memorial fund has been established.
