Schuller, Glenn Marvin
Glenn Marvin Schuller, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital from complications of Parkinsons. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in Hala Cemetery, near Walford. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Glenn was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, the son of George and Elsie Ione (Evenson) Schuller. He married Darlene Mumm on Nov. 26, 1951, in Cedar Rapids. He was a Korean War veteran, serving with the 5th Regimental Combat Team. Glenn was employed at Penford Products from 1954 until his retirement from the Engineering Department in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, archery and deer hunting.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Darlene; two daughters, June (Wayne) Johnson of Canton, Ala., and Janet (Daniel) Shaffer of Ely; a son, David (Patti) Schuller of Swisher; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons and two on the way; and a brother, Keith Schuller of Fruitland, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Esther Garbers.
Memorials may be directed to the McBride Raptor Center.
