DeVoss, Lois E.
Lois E. DeVoss, 85, of Dodgeville, Wis., passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, at Bloomfield Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville. Funeral services were March 11 at Gorgen-McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home in Dodgeville. The Rev. Steven Kottke will officiate. Private family burial will be at East Side Cemetery.
She was born June 25, 1926, in Denison, Iowa, a daughter of Fred and Bertha (Johanson) Hansohn. She was married to Fred DeVoss, who preceded her in death in 1992.
Lois is survived by her children, David (Dorothy) DeVoss, Larry (Catherine) DeVoss, Richard DeVoss, Tom (Kathy) DeVoss, all of Dodgeville, Wis., Orville (Carol) DeVoss of Linden, Wis., Gary (Cora) DeVoss of San Antonio, Texas, and Sharon (Jerry) Morrison of Verona, Wis.; her sisters, LaVerna Hanson and Leatrice (Clyde) Bean, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Lorraine McQueen; her brother-in-law, Darrell Hanson; her grandson, Jeffrey DeVoss; and her great-granddaughter, Sarah Sandstrom.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bloomfield Manor for their loving care of mom for the last four years.
